Computer trouble
I have serious computer trouble. My nice AMD Dual-core computer from 2006 crashed some time ago - it's currently on repair since 10 days!
This old computer from 2000, is a Pentium III 733Mhz with 320MB RAM and 32MB graphics only - worse, the HDD is on 10GB only. It's VERY soon filled up!
It won't even let me use my big 27" screen so I'm on the 18" screen to the right. This setup is so-so only and it's VERY slow! So have patience with me as long I have this mess
(just take a look under my desk!)
I'm used to work on my 27" screen and my computer with 2GB RAM with 256MB graphics and 500GB HDD.
I hope it'll be back soon - VERY soon!
macbook screen #1
This is the screen on my Macbook. It is not in good health. It used to just flicker by itself, get lighter and darker, when screen dark because of unuse in "better performance" mode. The screen you see I got this morning. I have had this Macbook for about five months.
I rebooted and the black lines at the top are gone, as is the noise in the wake of the icon you see being dragged at the time of screenshot.
Still, it's time for a repair, and not just because the flickering described in first paragraph continues.
