Radiator Heater Repair
- A portable heater resembling such a device

The '66 Convertible
Those are pictures I found from "our" '66 Galaxie when she was in the U.S.A. Soon I'm going to post some pictures of the car as it is today.
The things done to the Galaxie:
Repaired leak at the heater core;
The carpeting was removed and washed to remove the coolant, and some minor stains from being used without mats;
Seat belts were also cleaned;
Some light surface rust was removed from the floor pans;
New seals were installed on the quarter windows;
oil and filter (Motorcraft FL1-A) change;
Carburetor rebuild;
Spark plugs changed (Motorcraft BF-42);
New original spark plug wires from Dennis Carpenter;
new original Motorcraft radiator cap 13 lbs;
New original exhaust mufflers;
Lot's of underhood detais from Dennis Carpenter, and Obsolete&Classic Auto Parts, including a new battery holder, and a new washer reservoir;
And the elimination of the problematic Ignitor kit, in favor to the stock points set and condenser.
Fixing the car
The Purple Turtle developed a leak in the heater radiator, which Roy decided to fix himself. It was a mission to get the radiator out (as you can see!), and once out, we had it re-sealed and then Roy re-installed it again.
